| | Citation: | Warner Home Video has announced that they will release the Richard Donner classic film 'The Goonies' on Blu-ray this October in Europe. No announcement has been made for other regions at this time, but it is expected that they will release the title around the same time in the United States.
Video will be presented as 1080p VC-1 and accompanied by a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack. Extras should mirror that of the DVD release, which includes video commentary with the cast and crew, a featurette, deleted scenes, and a Cyndi Lauper music video.
Once the North American release is announced, we be sure to post it up. If for some reason it doesn't come to North America this year, we expect this Region Free release to be the hot import title of the Fall.
